We poured into you. You poured back into us. And now — all of that love, all of that growth, all of that talent — is about to overflow onto the stage.

Drip Creative Studio is having our first showcase, Overflow, and just like everything we do, it’s going to be big, bougie, and lots of fun! This is a family-friendly performance and all ages are welcome.

Save the date: Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 5pm

Location: Grand Ritz Theater in Escondido. The Grand Ritz Theater is a historic 1937 event venue located in the heart of downtown Escondido. It has 477 floor seats with six VIP tables on the mezzanine. VIP tables will be first come, first serve.

What to expect:

Each of our instructors is bringing two dances to the Overflow stage and we want YOU in them. Every dance comes with *four weeks of dedicated rehearsal, giving you the time to really learn the piece, connect with your team, and walk onto that stage ready.

You can register for up to three dances so if you've been wanting to train and perform with your favorite instructor or in your favorite style, this is your sign. Spots are capped at 25 dancers per class, so don't wait on this one.

Every performer will sign a participation agreement so everyone is set up for success from day one and payment plans are available.

*Toan, Jenny and Emma will be doing eight weeks of rehearsal for their Act I performance. Special rates will apply for their class.

We will also have a full dress rehearsal on Saturday, October 3 from 10am to 1pm at DRIP. Every performer must be available on this day as it will be the final rehearsal.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Rehearsal start dates depends on the instructor you are registering for. Please scroll up to see their schedule.

  • Each registered dancer is allowed to miss one rehearsal per dance. Since most groups only meet a handful of times before the showcase, missing more than one means your team loses critical time together — formations, transitions, and timing all depend on everyone being in the room.

    Registered with Toan, Jenny or Emma? Your rehearsal block runs eight weeks, so you're allowed up to two absences.

    Please note: if you are removed from a group due to excessive absences, your full rehearsal fee remains due per your signed agreement.

  • Not at all! You don't have to be a current DRIP student to perform in Overflow. This showcase is open to the whole community.

    However, we do highly recommend you take the instructor’s class to ensure you understand their teaching style, class level, and choreography. Our instructor’s tend to teach on the more intermediate and advanced levels.

    If you've been looking for a reason to finally try it out, this is it. Come rehearse with us, get to know this incredible community, and earn your spot on that stage. We would love to have you.

  • No, filming during rehearsals will not be allowed. We will, however, record footage at the end of each class - one with counts and one with the music. This will be available on a private drive for your personal practice in between rehearsals.

  • Many instructors will be creating mashups so there could be several songs in one performance. Please follow your instructor’s on Instagram as they’ll be posting updates on their piece.

  • One week before rehearsals start. Please check individual instructor rehearsal dates.

  • Yes, there will be a 10 minute intermission between Acts.

  • Please scroll down to see the detail on cost.

  • Costumes are not included and will be styled by each instructor. We estimate it will cost $50 per dance.

  • Tickets will go live as soon as possible! We’re still waiting for the Grand Ritz to set the portal up for us. Performers will receive a private link to send to family and friends one week before it goes live to the public.

  • We will a few free Open Studio times in both Studio 51 and Studio Sol for practice. Please bring your headphones in case there are other people practicing. You’ll receive a code to register for a spot after rehearsals start.

  • Instructors are given a maximum of five minutes per performance.

  • We will be having a tech rehearsal right before the actual performance - meaning we will run through the entire showcase with the AV Tech team to ensure proper sound, lighting, and spacing. Students will need to arrive by 12:30pm.

  • You’ll receive an email from Glad with a Performance Agreement that will need to be signed. This Agreement outlines the terms, expectations, and cost of your participation in the showcase.

    An invoice will also be sent in this email. If you decide to do an installment plan, information on how that works will be included in the email. Please note that a deposit will need to be made to hold your spot on the roster.

Let’s Perform Together

Your first dance is $140 which includes eight hours of rehearsal with an incredible instructor, creating alongside your team. Every additional dance after that is $70 each, and since you can register for up to three dances, you could be performing in three numbers for a total of $280. That's a whole lot of stage time for the investment.

Payment plans are available! To hold your spot, a 20% non-refundable deposit is due at registration. From there, you'll be set up on autopay and your remaining balance will be split into equal weekly payments, processed one month before each rehearsal.

For example: If you sign up for one dance on a payment plan, your deposit would be $28. Your remaining balance would then be divided into four weekly payments of $28, automatically processed one month leading up to rehearsal. Easy, predictable, and no stress.

If you’d like to pay in full, a 20% nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Full payment is due one month before your first rehearsal date.

All registered performers will be required to sign a participation agreement before their spot is confirmed. This agreement will be emailed to you after submitting the interest form below.
